2015 Emmy’s : Best Dressed

The 2015 Emmy’s were last night and they did not disappoint. We saw some beautiful pops of color on the red carpet, like Taylor Schilling’s canary Stella McCartney, and some bold choices, like Tatiana Maslany’s Bouchra Jarrar jumpsuit. It was hard to narrow it down, but here are my favourite looks from the red carpet:

 

TARAJI P. HENSON

Taraji looked confident and gorgeous in this piece from Alexander Wang. I loved the chain straps and cutout for an effortlessly stylish look.

CHRISTINA HENDRICKS

Christina is always a vision and this bombshell look was the perfect way to say goodbye to her last nomination for Mad Men. I loved the texture of the Naeem Khan gown and how it accentuated her curves perfectly.

KERRY WASHINGTON

Kerry’s always a red carpet fave, and her straight-off-the-runway Marc Jacobs was one of absolute favourite looks of the night. From the side slit to the detailed shoulders, this dress did not disappoint. She looked like a dream, and the soft hair and simple makeup didn’t overwhelm the dress.

CLAIRE DANES

Claire Danes was a revelation in this Prada piece. I loved how striking the colour was, but it didn’t overpower her. There was something sweet but strong about this dress, and it hung beautifully on her. The faux bob was perfect and helped show off the dress even more.

 

CAT DEELY

I loved this sparkly gold Monique Lhuillier on the beautiful  So I Think You Can Dance host. She looked cool and comfortable in the LA heat, and the side swept hair was a perfect compliment to this elegant and fun gown.

JANUARY JONES

January Jones never disappoints, and she looked absolutely stunning in this Ulyana Sergeenko jumpsuit. The colour popped on the red carpet, and was so well suited to her skin and hair. It’s hard saying goodbye to Betty Draper, and to January’s amazing fashion choices!
