Street Style at New York Fashion Week 2014
September 15, 2014I always love the street style at New York Fashion Week. This year I have to admit the styles were amazing, or at least I thought so. I loved most of what I saw. If you didn’t know I am the queen of black and white, and I love a good jumpsuit and this was two of the big street style trends that we saw this year.
70’s Style: Boho Chic, fringe and jumpsuits everywhere. 70’s were a promanant thread in most of the street styles. Right up my ally.
Men’s Wear: Lots of big blazers and tuxedo like blazers over feminine ruffled dresses. I like it over a dress, the full men’s wear look I thing can be a bit much but these girls managed to pull it off.
Monochromatic Colour Scheme: Solid colour everywhere, solid black, brown and blue reigned supreme.
Black and White: The look of the week for sure and my all time favourite colours of course.
Leather Shorts & Chanel: Personal favorite look, how can you go wrong in a casual cool way like this. Love it.
