Halloween Ideas
October 20, 2014Halloween is right around the corner. It’s not only time for the kids to have fun, but time for adults to dress up and join the party too. I have a few guy friends that absolutely love this night because of all the girls in scantily clad costumes…geez…boys. Well what’s a girl to do if you don’t want to be a sexy cop or a playboy bunny? And listen…I am not criticizing those things I have been there, done that in Halloween past. As a matter of fact I believe I was Cat Woman last year. Anyway I digress. Here are a few fun ideas if you feel like being creative and deviating from the ordinary cheep bodysuits and animal ears.
The Glowing JellyFish – I have to admit this is my current favourite. I like the idea of an all white dress or white leather leggings and a tank with a clear umbrella with streamers and you HAVE to add the glowsticks. Pure awesome.
The Cup of Joe: The quintessential sign of the times, the Starbucks cup of coffee. I have seen this costume many ways online. I prefer it as the plain white dress…I am after all, all about simple and to the point…plus it looks good.
Candy Crush: I personally don’t play this game…but I have many a client and friend that is totally addicted. Neddless to say it makes a cute costume and a conversation piece…you will find out who’s on what level and perhaps get a bit of help in the process!
Bumble Bee: Still cute right? If you want to have a bit of fun…you could put ” BOO” on the front of the costume 😉
Rosie the Riveter – “Rosie” is a cultural icon of the United States, representing the American women who worked in factories during World War II, some of the famous tag lines associated with encouraging women to take on jobs were “Can you use an electric mixer? If so, you can learn to operate a drill”. Throw on a pair of black short cut offs on with your boots for the win. Go Rosie.
