Its Time For Shorts

In some people’s minds, shorts can seem more like a daytime piece. But with all the fun prints out there right now, and the different looks, you can totally make shorts work at night. However, you don’t want to seem like you’re going to the beach or the mall, while your girlfriends are all in dresses. The key is to dress the look up. You can do this by adding a blazer, a leather jacket, nude or black heels, and some statement piece necklaces. I have a pair of leather shorts that I am absolutely obsessed with. I can’t wear them often enough. I pair them with a more delicate and softer looking printed top, which helps the look still look feminine (with an edgy twist.) Also you want to be sure to wear a pair of shorts that flatter your figure, and that you are comfortable in. Be mindful of your body type as well, you don’t want the shorts to appear to cut you off in the wrong places or ride up and cause you do be uncomfortable for your night out.
