Pantone Color of the Year for 2014: Radiant Orchid
January 20, 2014A couple of months ago, Pantone released their Color of the Year for 2014.
They announced that it would be Radiant Orchid. I don’t know about you, but I don’t wear purple that often. Yet I was really intrigued for this color choice because after some thought about it, I don’t know anyone or any skin tone, that can’t wear this color.
The color is so bold and intriguing that you will definitely be making a statement when you wear it. If you have paler skin, it is a really nice contrast. If you have darker skin, you still have that contrast! The emerald choice last year was a classic, but this radiant orchid color is so feminine and flirty, I love it. I decided to do some looking around and find all the different ways to incorporate this color into my closet and I got really excited about some of the options.
