Spring Trends 2015

For most of us the weather is getting nicer and we are changing our wardrobe from the black jeans to the white and adding in some colour to our blah winter wardrobe. I am totally in love with the trends this spring, most of them are fun, wearable and have some 70’s vibe to them.

White on white – This spring trend is every where and I love it.  Throw on white skinnies and a white tank with a blazer or a little white dress.  I personally like the shoes neutral or black but that is up to you to add your own style. Pieces I love: Here, here and here.

 

The Shirt Dress – The perfect classy but cool dress.  There are a million different cuts, colours and styles out there right now for spring.  You can dress them up with heels and a structured bag or down with flat sandals and a fringe hobo, the best part about them is they are very flexible in the look that you want to create..it’s like a choose your own adventure for your closet. Yellow: Before you scoff hear me out, yellow can actually look really good and there is a shade out there for everyone.  Try it out, have a little fun and get your yellow on! My favourites: Here, Here and Here.

 

The Kimono style trench: The kimono is back and of course still around for spring and this season many designers created a trench coat that had the loose and light structure of the kimono. What a fantastic trend, really what’s not to love about a cross between a robe and a coat/kimono. Favourites: Here and Here.

 

Gladiator Sandals: They are back in full force and I love them.  We started to see them last year and they came down the spring and summer runways again this year.  Short or tall they are very on trend and fun to wear. My favourites: Here, Here and Here.
